In the year 2050. I'll be 56 years old. I'll live a cold house in the mountains with my wife. my house will be small it will have 2 bedrooms , one bathroom and one living room. I will have one wife and three sons called: Sergio Javier Jose. They won't live in my house because they will have their families. I will have three pets: One dog, one cat and one chameleon but I won't have a horse because my house will be very small. I will work in a big computer company. I have decided it. I am going to be a computer programmer in my house. I'll have 2 televisions 3 pc's and lots of telephones and I will have Internet too. I will go out with my school friends in teh evenings. I will cook, do the ironing and clean the house...I will be an ideal husband

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) are Standards, Interpretations and the Framework for the Preparation and Presentation of Financial statements (in the absence of a Standard or an Interpretation) adopted by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).
Many of the Standards that form part of IFRS are known by the older ñame of International Accounting Standards (IAS). IAS were issued between 1973 and 2001 by the Board of the International Accounting Standards Committee (IASC). On April 1st 2001, the new IASB took over from the IASC the responsibility for setting International Accounting Standards. During its first meeting, the new Board adopted existing IAS and SICs. The IASB has continued to develop Standards, called the new Standards IFRS.
Structure of IFRS
IFRS are considered a "principies based" set of Standards in that they establish broad rules as well as dictating specific treatments.
