A force: is a push or pull acting upon an object as a result of its interaction with another object.Their effects: they can make an object move, change the speed of it, change the direction, change the shape..  2 types of forces:CONTACT FORCES Frictional ,Tension, Normal, Applied, Spring .ACTION-AT-A DISTANCE FORCES. gravitional, electrical and magnetic.tension: force that a spring or similars exerts on the object in these type of problems. Resistive Forc: prevents the slipping or sliding of 2 surfaces in contact. Normal force: exerted on an object which is in contact to another stable object. NEWTON LAWS 1- an object at rest will remain at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force. An object in motion cotinues in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.'the law of inertia' 2. gives us an exact relationship between force, mass, and acceleration. F= m · a 3.For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction this means that for every force there is a reaction force that is equal in size, but opposite direction.
