Devil: the enemy of God, or a bad person. Goat: an animal that gives milk and often lives wild. Monkey: a wild animal that can climb trees fast and easily. Mutiny: when sailors fight the captain and officers and take control of a ship. Pirate: a sailor who fights and steals from other ships at sea. Rescue: to save someon from danger or death. Rope: very thick, strong string. Rum: a stron drink liked by sailors. Scoundrel: a bad person. Shore: the ground along the edge of the sea. Skeleton: the bone frame in the body of an animal or person. Squire: an old word for the chief landowner in an area. Swear: to use bad words. Treasure: silver, money, gold, or other valuable things.
