what happened to ricardo: a serious accident happened to ricardo and pablo while ricardo was driving his father's car after he had been drinking calimochos with some friends. what was pablo's reaction: when ricardo called pablo in his hospital room, pablo was very angry whit ricardo. he wanted ricardo to leave him alone because he thougth that ricardo didn't care about anyone except himself and he was very worried about his hurt legs and if he could walk again. ricardo only wanted not to feel guilty if pablo forgave him about the accident. were ricardo's parents angry: ricardo's parents didin't have time to be angry with him because they were very worried about him, besides they hoped that he used his time in hospital to reflect on the consequences of his social drinking and his new choice of friends. they wouldn't punish him because maybe he punished himself and he would pay more attention to his parents' advise. what kind of student: ricardo used to be an excellent student - the top his class. now, for the first time in his life he was going to fail all his exams.when and where did ricardo meet raul: he met raul at the begining of the school year. both he and pablo had changed school. neither of them knew anyone in the new school. ricardo was forced to attend the first day without pablo because he had a bad cold. at the entrance of the school ricardo noticed a group of tough-looking boys who were insulting and lauhing at other students. raul started to insult ricardo but ricardo didn't show his fear and he answered raul with insults too. raul thought it was good and he accepted ricardo in his group. why did everyone at the school start: everyone at the school started to respect ricardo because he was the only person that had ever talkedback to raul before and their encounter spread quickly around the school and everyone seemed to know who he was and trated him with respect. how did raul,ricardo and the others: they celebrated their new friendship mmetingofter school. raul collected money from everyone and they prepared calimochos(a mixture of red wine and coca-cola)and they went to a park where they are drinking a lot. what happened to pablo at the''wild party'': pablo also got drunk like the rest of group.the day after he felt terribly. what did pablo want to do on saturday: pablo wanted to go to the cinema or play some poker but ricardo wanted to have another wild party in the park, he thought that cinema was for kids and they were adults. what did ricardo tell his: when pablo refused to go to the party ricardo tried to persuade him but it was impossible, he got very angry. he sent pablo to hell, and he hung up the phone.
what did ricardo tell his parents when they: when ricardo's parents expressed their worries about his behaviour he told them to leave him alone. that they didn't know about having a good time. besides, he was old enough to take care about himself. what did ricardo promised: he promised his father that he would change his drinking habits on his own, he would study more and they should trust him. what tricks: the tricks that ricardo used to hide the fact that he was drinking again were drinking during schol hours, using a strong mouthwash to hide the smell of alcohol on his breath and having lunch later then his parents saying them that he had to work with his chemistry teacher after school so that he avoided to talk to them and they could notice he had drunk again. why did ricardo's parents have to fly: ricardo's parents had to fly to the canary islands because his uncle rodrigo had had a very bad motorcycle accident and he was in intensive care in hospital. what did raul convince ricardo to do: raul convinced ricardo to drive his father's car to go to a great party outside the town where there were a lot of alcohol and girls. why did pablo get into: pablo got into the car with ricardo because he couldn't leave ricardo alone with the car. he was very drunk and maybe he could convince him to return home before they picked up raul and his friend. before he left hospital: before ricardo left hospital, he told pablo that he had decided to go to Alcoholics Anonymous and he had his first meeting with them the evening after. how did pablo react to: pablo reacted very well because ricardo was very sorry and he wanted to continue being his friend and to forget what had happened.
