DESCRIPTION OF AN ADVERT: In this advert, there are two kids who are wearing coats, boots and other winter clothes. They are playing in the snow.
This is an advert for a company which sells all types of clothes. I think they use it in fashion magazines and on TV adverts. As far as I can see, they are trying to sell clothes to kids.
I like this advert because it reminds me of going to the mountains on winter holidays. However, I don't think that people really remember this advert when they go to the shop. In my opinion, people buy clothes that they like and they don't buy clothes they see in adverts.

BOOK REVIEW: Bajo la misma estrella
The last book that I read was called "Bajo la misma estrella". It's by an American author called John Green. I got this book because the story sounded very nice.
"Bajo la misma estrella" is a story about two teenagers, and it provides lots of fascinating information about their love. It describes the love story that these two teenagers had with cancer. They are called August and Hazel. There aren't photos or any pictures in the book.
This book caught my attention. The story is amazing. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is interested in love stories.

LEARNING ENGLISH:
I've studied English for ten years, since I was 5 years old. I remember my first English teacher. Her name was Maria. She was Spanish, but she spoke English fluently because she had lived in London for three years. She had a quiet English accent!
I've never been to England. However, last year the English teacher organized an exchange trip to Canterbury. My classmates learnt a lot of English while they were staying with their families, and they had a fantastic time there.
Now I'm studying English in high school. We usually have three hours of English every week, including one hour with an American teacher. I like learning a foreign language because you can talk to people when you go abroad on holiday.

GENETICALLY MODIFIED FOOD:
In the 21st century, genetically modified food is a controversial topic. People have different opinions about this subject, and there are arguments both for and against genetically modified food.
Some people argue that if we modify food, we can get stronger plants. Scientists can also modify the color or flavour of plants. Moreover, genetically modified food could reduce hunger in the world.
However, it is too new and we don't know its long-term impact. Many people think there will be a lot of pollution due to the use of chemical products.
In conclusion, I think that genetically modified food could be a good idea because of its scientific benefits. Its impact in the future, on the other hand, could be very dangerous for our society.
