Check-in en Recepción
G (15): Hello! I've booked a double room in the name of Robinson.
R: Good evening, sir. May I help you?
R: Yes, of course. A double room for five nights.
R (5): We have allocated you a room on the top floor, Mr. Robinson.
G: We asked for a king-sized bed and a view of the river.
R (1): Don't worry, all the rooms on the top floor have views of the river, and there's also a king-sized bed in the room.
G: Oh, that's wonderful!
G: That's fine. Is there a lift, I suppose?
R (7): Yes, of course, sir.
R (12): That's fine. Would you mind showing me your passports?
G: Certainly. I'll just get them from my bag.
R (4): Thank you. Your room is 408. Here is your key wallet with the key cards inside. Okay? Have you got any luggage?
G: Yes, those two suitcases over there.
R (10): Will you be having bed and breakfast, half board, or full board?
G: Just bed and breakfast, and we may have dinner in the restaurant on some evenings, but we'll see.
R: Thank you very much. Could you just sign the room card and the police registration form?
G (4): Yes, that's right.
R: I hope you have a pleasant stay, and if you need anything, please let us know.
R (21): Right. The bell boy will show you to your room and explain where all the facilities are.
G (21): Okay. Thank you.
R: You're welcome.

Second part – Dialogue between Bell Boy (BB) and Guest (G)
BB: Good evening. Come this way, please. There are three lifts in the hotel, but this one is the closest to your room.
(In the lift)
BB (6): At the end of the corridor, there is a door to the swimming pool and sun roof. The fitness centre is also on this floor.
BB (2): Will you be having dinner in the hotel tonight? We have two restaurants, both on the first floor. In our Blue Nile restaurant, there is a special week of French cuisine. Guests seem to think the food is delicious.
G: Well, that sounds good, and we are a bit tired after the journey. Could you book us a table?
BB: Yes, of course. What time for?
G: 9 o'clock would be fine.
(They arrive at the room)
BB (8): Here we are. The key card goes in the slot, and when the green light comes on, the door opens. Then you put the card in this slot inside the door, and the lights come on. You have a welcome pack on the table which shows all the facilities we have here. I wish you a very pleasant stay with us.
G: Thank you very much.
