Sección 1: Formas Verbales y Tiempos

Las formas verbales correctas para completar las oraciones son:

Sección 2: Oraciones Condicionales (If Clauses)

  1. Tercer Condicional: If Charlie had left early, he wouldn’t have missed the bus.
  2. Segundo Condicional: If I had money, I would travel. (Alternativa: I could travel).
  3. Primer Condicional: If you get close to the swimming pool, you’ll fall in. (Alternativa: you can fall in).
  4. Tercer Condicional: If Mike had made a shopping list, he wouldn’t have forgotten to buy some coffee.
  5. Segundo Condicional: If I weren’t / wasn’t tired, I would walk. (Alternativa: I could walk).

Sección 3: Cláusulas Relativas y Omisión de Pronombres

  6. That is the place where I met John.

Nota Importante sobre la Omisión:

Solo los pronombres relativos encerrados entre paréntesis ( ) pueden omitirse en la oración. Los demás pronombres NO pueden ser omitidos.

Sección 4: La Voz Pasiva

  1. My laptop was stolen by a burglar. (Pasiva en Pasado Simple)
  2. A new president has been elected. (Pasiva en Presente Perfecto)
  3. Our new house will be finished at the end of the month. (Pasiva en Futuro Simple)
  4. This programme is watched by millions of people. (Pasiva en Presente Simple)
  5. This book was being written by Sam’s father. (Pasiva en Pasado Continuo)
  6. Was all the food eaten at the party? (Pregunta en Pasiva en Pasado Simple)
  7. Our school is being redecorated during the summer holidays. (Pasiva en Presente Continuo)
  8. A present was given to Karen by Peter. (Pasiva con Preposición) / Karen was given a present by Peter. (Pasiva con Doble Objeto)

Sección 5: Verbos Causativos (Have/Get Something Done)

  1. I had my house painted last year.
  2. I am having my car serviced tomorrow.
  3. He has had his room decorated recently.
  4. She had her house broken into yesterday. (Usado a menudo para eventos desafortunados)

Sección 6: Estilo Indirecto (Reported Speech)

  1. Jack told me (that) he had lost the map. (Declaración)
  2. She told me (that) she wouldn’t be there the next day / the following day. (Declaración con cambio de tiempo)
  3. He asked me if I was a student. (Pregunta de Sí/No)
  4. They asked her what she had done the day before / the previous day. (Pregunta Wh-)
  5. He told me not to touch that. (Orden Negativa)
  6. She suggested having some pizza. (Sugerencia con Gerundio) / (Alternativa: She suggested that we should have some pizza.)
