Voz Pasiva

Uso de los verbos is, are, was, were, be:

  • Is: Singular.
  • Are: Plural.
  • Was: Singular en pasado.
  • Were: Plural en pasado.

Present Perfect (Presente Perfecto)

Estructura: Sujeto + auxiliar have/has + verbo en participio + complemento.

  • Has: Tercera persona (He, She, It).
  • Have: I, You, We, They.

Condicionales

  • 1st Conditional: Se utiliza el presente y will. Ejemplo: If you heat water to 100°C, it will boil.
  • 2nd Conditional: Se utiliza el pasado después del if y would. Ejemplo: If we had enough money, we would buy a car.

Voz Activa vs. Voz Pasiva

  • Active Voice: Parents have to encourage education.
  • Passive Voice: The education is encouraged by the parents.

Presente Simple

Auxiliares:

  • Do: I, They, We, You.
  • Does: He, She, It (en 3ra persona singular se agrega -s o -es al verbo solo en afirmativo).

Ejemplos:

  • Does she dance merengue on Friday?
  • She doesn't dance merengue on Friday.
  • Yes, she dances merengue on Friday.

Present Perfect (Detallado)

  • Afirmativo: Pronoun + have/has + past participle + complement. (Ej: She has lived there for 4 years).
  • Negativo: Pronoun + have not/has not (haven't/hasn't) + past participle + complement. (Ej: She hasn't lived there for 4 years).
  • Interrogativo: Have/has + pronoun + past participle + complement + ? (Ej: Has she lived there for 4 years?).

Pasado Simple

Se utiliza para describir acciones finalizadas en un tiempo anterior. Ejemplos: She cleaned her house / I broke the window.

En formas interrogativa y negativa se utiliza el auxiliar DID (pasado de do) seguido del verbo en infinitivo. En negativo se usa DIDN'T.

Ejemplo: Did I play? / I did not play / I played.

Should y Shouldn't

Se utilizan para dar consejos o expresar lo que creemos correcto o incorrecto.

Ejemplo: You look tired. I think you should take a few days off.

  • Afirmativo: Subject + should + verb in present + complement.
  • Negativo: Subject + shouldn't + verb in present + complement.
  • Interrogativo: Should + subject + verb in present + complement?

Ejemplo: Should your family go to the church on Sunday? Yes, they should go / No, they shouldn't go.
