Gales (Capítulo 6)

Cornualles (Capítulo 7)

En este capítulo, Antonio explica que, durante su estancia en Gales, leyó sobre un concurso en una revista de viajes y quiso escribir un artículo para participar. Con la ayuda de Gareth, decidió escribir sobre Cornualles, una zona remota en el extremo suroeste de Gran Bretaña.

Comenzó su viaje en Bude y, en un bar, conoció a Richard, un hombre mayor, quien le explicó a Antonio algunas leyendas e historias sobre Cornualles.

Antonio fue a Tintagel y se quedó en el Hotel Castillo, como Richard había sugerido. Tres días después, estuvo en Chapel Porth y recordó un cuento de Richard sobre un gigante llamado Boster y los Piskies. En este pueblo, el mar es de color rojo con la sangre de Boster.

Antonio visitó otras ciudades y recordó otras historias. Finalmente, terminó su artículo, pero no ganó el concurso; sin embargo, lo importante es que la revista lo publicó.

Mánchester (Capítulo 8)

Antonio estaba en un restaurante tailandés con su prima Luisa cuando ella exclamó que, frente a ellos, estaba sentado David Beckham. La mentalidad de la gente en Gran Bretaña es que una persona famosa es de dominio público (esto es muy divertido), y ella fue a pedir autógrafos a él y a Victoria Adams.

Wales (Chapter 6)

In this chapter, Antonio imagined he was on a small Caribbean island when the phone rang. It was Gareth, an old friend of Antonio's, who told him she was getting married.

At the celebration, Gareth introduced Angharad to Antonio, and he fell in love.

Antonio and Angharad went windsurfing, but he eventually preferred to watch her from the beach.

On the last day Antonio stayed in Wales, they went to the Royal National Eisteddfod, which is a popular festival of competitive music-making and poetry-writing in Europe.

Cornwall (Chapter 7)

In this chapter, Antonio explains that during his stay in Wales, he read about a competition in a travel magazine and wanted to write an article to participate. With Gareth's help, he decided to write about Cornwall, which is a remote area in the southwest corner of Britain.

He started his trip in Bude, and in a pub, he met Richard, an old man who explained some legends and stories about Cornwall to Antonio.

Antonio went to Tintagel and stayed in the Castle Hotel, as Richard had suggested. Three days later, he was in Chapel Porth and remembered a story of Richard's about a giant named Boster and the Piskies. In this village, the sea is red with Boster's blood.

Antonio visited other towns and remembered other stories. Finally, he finished his article but didn't win the competition; however, the important thing is that the magazine published it.

Manchester (Chapter 8)

Antonio was in a Thai restaurant with his cousin Louise when she exclaimed that in front of them was sitting David Beckham. The mentality of British people is that a famous person is public property (this is very funny), and she went to ask him and Victoria Adams for autographs.

At night, Antonio and Louise went to a fantastic club until 2:00 a.m. The next day, Antonio went to Old Trafford stadium and met David and Steve; they saw an important match.
