Present Perfect Continuous

El Present Perfect Continuous se utiliza para hablar de acciones que comenzaron en el pasado y continúan hasta el presente, o que acaban de terminar y sus efectos son visibles.

Afirmativa

Estructura: sujeto + have/has + been + verbo terminado en -ing

Ejemplo: I have been reading a book (He estado leyendo un libro)

Negativa

Estructura: Sujeto + haven't/hasn't + been + verbo terminado en -ing

Ejemplo: I haven't been watching TV (No he estado viendo la tele)

Interrogativa

• Can: Expresses ability, permission (giving and asking), requests, possibility, and suggestions.
• Can't: Indicates prohibition, negative deductions, or knowing something is impossible.
• Could: Denotes ability in the past, improbable possibility, polite requests, and indirect suggestions.
• Be able to: Expresses ability and possibility.
• Must (present simple): Signifies obligation (often due to law or authority).
• Mustn't: Indicates prohibition.
• Have to: Expresses obligation (often external, contrasting with 'must' which can be internal or strong external).
• Need to: Expresses obligation or necessity.
• Don't need to / Don't have to / Needn't: Indicates lack of obligation (not necessary).

Verbos Modales: Habilidad

Can / Could / Be able to

Para expresar habilidad, utilizamos diferentes verbos modales según el tiempo verbal y el contexto.

• Can: Lo usamos para expresar habilidad en el presente.
