Entre despite i in spite of the fact that hi ha una diferència, encara que tenen el mateix significat. Darrere de Despite ha d’anar o un nom o un verb amb –ing i sol està al mig de la frase.

En canvi, in spite of the fact that, sol anar al principi i darrere pots posar qualsevol paraula.
