OVERCROWDED ANIMAL SHELTERS

Dear Ms. President,

I am writing to express my deep concern about the current situation of animal shelters in Lanzarote. They are by far too overcrowded and cannot take in any more homeless cats and dogs. As a result, many animals are being left to roam the streets, which creates serious social and health issues.

Unless the government opens more shelters and improves the existing ones, the problem will only get worse. We cannot turn a blind eye to this growing crisis. It is time to step in and support both the animals and the people who care for them.

I kindly ask you to take urgent action and reply to this message with possible solutions.

Yours faithfully,
Ana Maria Rivas Molina.

IMMIGRATION CENTRES

Dear Mr. President,

I am writing to express my serious concern about the current state of immigration centres across the Canary Islands. They are by far overcrowded and far from meeting basic humanitarian standards. Immigrants lack access to proper food, medical care, and shelter, which violates their fundamental rights.

So far, several human rights groups have spoken out against the inhuman conditions. Unless immediate action is taken, the situation will continue to deteriorate and affect the dignity of those who arrive in search of safety.

I urge you to step in, allocate more resources, and carry out the necessary improvements. Please reply with details about the measures your government plans to take.

Yours faithfully,
Ana Maria Rivas Molina.

HOUSING PRICES

Dear Mr. Sánchez,

I am writing to express my concern about the growing housing crisis affecting young people in Spain. Property prices are by far too high, and affordable housing is becoming increasingly rare. Many young adults cannot move out, start families, or live independently.

So far, the government's efforts have not been enough. If no real solutions are carried out soon, this situation will create long-term social and economic consequences.

I suggest creating rent subsidies, building more public housing, and controlling speculative buying. These measures could help young people to access decent homes and build a stable future.

I look forward to your response and to seeing effective changes soon.

Yours sincerely,
Ana Maria Rivas Molina.

FAST FASHION

Dear Mr. Mayor,

I am writing to raise concern about the growing problem of textile waste in our town. Many popular clothing stores promote fast fashion, encouraging excessive consumption and waste. So far, there are no proper recycling bins or donation points for used clothes, which makes the situation even worse.

If the local government implemented a plan to reduce textile waste, we could encourage sustainable habits in our community. I suggest setting up clothing donation centres, launching awareness campaigns, and working with stores to promote eco-friendly fashion.

This issue affects both the environment and future generations. I kindly ask for your response and support in addressing it.

Yours faithfully,
Ana Maria Rivas Molina.

ACADEMIC PRESSURE

Dear Principal,

I am writing to express my concern about the growing academic pressure faced by students in our school. So far, there is no dedicated mental health counselor or support system available, which is far from acceptable in today's demanding academic environment.

Many students are struggling to cope with stress, anxiety, and burnout. If the school hired qualified mental health staff and created a support program, it would greatly improve students' well-being and academic performance.

I strongly encourage the administration to step in and take action. Mental health must be a priority for every educational institution.

Thank you for your attention. I look forward to your response.

Yours faithfully,
Ana Maria Rivas Molina
