Describing a book
Although I do not consider myself a bookworm, I must confess that the moment I started reading “A través de mi ventana”, I was captivated. At first, I thought it would be like watching paint dry, that is, a typical, hackneyed and contrived historical book. However, having never heard of Arianna Godoy, the author of this gripping novel, and as I do not like judging a book by its cover, I decided to give it a shot.
Plot
The plot is absolutely intriguing. It is quite curious and makes for good bedtime reading. It deals with a fascinating love adventure in which suspense builds up as we approach the end of the book. Raquel, the main character, who is not a university student, falls in love with one of the sons of “Los Hidalgos”, Ares. The story takes place in different settings that evoke a magical atmosphere. There are chapters of love, suspense, drama, and more.
Overall impression
In a nutshell, if I were to sum up this novel in a few words, I would state that it contains an astonishing plot with a cliffhanger ending. I thoroughly believe that it is by far one of the best novels I have ever read. It is so fascinating that I just could not put it down, and it is going to raise the bar for others.
A valuable possession
Most people have an object that holds importance in their lives. It could be anything: a watch, a bracelet, a book, or whatever. However, if I had to choose my most valuable possession, I would probably opt for a ring. Beyond a shadow of doubt, I feel that one of my rings is an important object for me. It is a ring to measure and it is made of silver. It is not too glamorous, but it is simple, so I can wear it every day of the year.
Origin
I have only had it for a couple of years, and it was a present from my father for my birthday. I think it is really appropriate and formal enough to wear on a special occasion. However, I am used to wearing it every day for school, parties, and meetings.
Conclusion
In a nutshell, I consider my ring a valuable item for me. The more I wear it, the more I like it. Not only does it suit my hand, but it also attracts people's attention.
