Tiempos Verbales de Futuro en Inglés

Future Simple: Will

Estructura

• Afirmativa: SUJETO + will + Verbo en infinitivo + complementos

Usos principales

Future: Be going to

Estructura

• Afirmativa: SUJETO + am / is / are + going to + Verbo en infinitivo + complementos
• Negativa: SUJETO + am not / isn't / aren't + going to + Verbo en infinitivo + complementos
• Interrogativa: Am / is / are + SUJETO + going to + Verbo en infinitivo + complementos?

Usos principales

• Planes o intenciones para el futuro.
• Acciones inminentes o evidentes (algo que sabemos con certeza que va a ocurrir).

Future Perfect

Estructura

• Afirmativa: SUJETO + will have + Participio (Verbo regular acabado en -ed / 3ª columna de verbos irregulares) + complementos
• Negativa: SUJETO + won't have + Participio + complementos
• Interrogativa: Will + SUJETO + have + Participio + complementos?

Uso principal

• Indica una acción que habrá finalizado en un cierto momento del futuro.

Future Continuous

Estructura

• Afirmativa: SUJETO + will be + Verbo en -ing + complementos
• Negativa: SUJETO + won't be + Verbo en -ing + complementos
• Interrogativa: Will + SUJETO + be + Verbo en -ing + complementos?

Uso principal

• Describe el desarrollo de una acción en un momento concreto del futuro.

El Estilo Indirecto en Inglés (Reported Speech)

El estilo indirecto se utiliza para contar lo que otra persona ha dicho, pero sin citar sus palabras textualmente. Esto implica cambios en los tiempos verbales, pronombres y expresiones de tiempo.

1. Afirmaciones (Statements)

Estilo Directo: "I work a lot." (Yo trabajo mucho).

Estilo Indirecto: She told me that she worked a lot. (Ella me dijo que ella trabajaba mucho).

2. Órdenes (Commands)

Órdenes afirmativas (to + infinitivo)

Estilo Directo: "Sit down!" (¡Siéntate!).

Estilo Indirecto: She told me to sit down. (Ella me dijo que me sentara).

Órdenes negativas (not to + infinitivo)

Estilo Directo: "Don't smoke!" (¡No fumes!).

Estilo Indirecto: She told me not to smoke. (Ella me dijo que no fumara).

3. Preguntas (Questions)

Estilo Directo: "How is your girlfriend?" (¿Cómo está tu novia?).

Estilo Indirecto: She asked me how my girlfriend was. (Ella me preguntó que cómo estaba mi novia).

Estilo Directo: "Where do you live now?" (¿Dónde vives ahora?).
