Her unique ability to solve complex problems with a smile is truly inspiring.

Throughout her life, she has perfectly balanced the precise logic of the legal field with the endless artistic creativity of design, standing out for her brilliant intellect and daily dedication. Furthermore, she always finds the time to listen to me and guide me with her great wisdom. Her inspiring career reflects her strong work ethic and passion for excellence.

In conclusion, I admire her immensely because she is an outstanding mother and an exceptional woman. She has always been by my side, offering unconditional support and helping me in every single thing I need. I love her with all my heart, and I am profoundly grateful to life for the wonderful blessing of having her.

Ventana versus Pasillo: ¿Dónde Sentarse?

On an airplane, I would prefer to sit by the window. That way, I can entertain myself by looking at the clouds out the window. There are several pros to sitting next to one:

• You can stay entertained during the trip by looking outside.
• You can lean against the window to sleep when you are tired.
• You are farther away from the aisle, so people, backpacks, or anything else won't bump into you.

However, there are also some very key cons:

• Since you are farther from the aisle, when you have to get up to go to the bathroom, you have to keep asking people for permission to pass.
• If your belongings are in the overhead compartment, it is more of a hassle to get them.
• During sunrises or sunsets, the sun can shine directly on you.

Despite everything, I would still always prefer to sit near a window because I think the flight is enjoyed much more.

¡Mi Mayor Logro Musical!

Hi Camila,

How are you? I hope everything is going great over there. I wanted to tell you about something that happened to me a few days ago, and I still can't believe it.

Last weekend, I played the piano in an orchestra. I had prepared a lot for that occasion, and I was very nervous that something would go wrong. But everything turned out great! When I finished, I was so happy with the result because everything went exactly as I hoped. In the end, they even gave me the opportunity to play my second instrument, which is the violin, in another concert. I am very grateful for these new opportunities.

I hope we can see each other soon so I can tell you all about it in person. I am so happy that we are writing to each other again and staying in touch. I hope you are doing well and that everything is going great in your country.

Una Noche Aterradora

Hi Ana,

How are you? I’m writing because something really strange happened to me last night and I still don’t understand it.

I was walking home alone after studying at the library. Everything seemed normal, but when I entered the building, the elevator wasn’t working, so I had to take the stairs.

Halfway up, I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around, but no one was there. I kept going faster, and the footsteps also got faster. I reached my floor completely out of breath. When I opened the door, I felt a breath very close to my ear… but I was completely alone.

I turned on all the lights and checked the apartment, but there was no one. For a few seconds I heard a whisper saying my name, even though the hallway was empty. I couldn’t sleep at all that night and I’m still feeling uneasy.

I’m telling you because I know you like these kinds of stories, but I’m honestly quite scared.

Viaje de Estudios a Londres

Dear Headteacher,

The students in our class would like to propose a school trip to London for next term. We think it would be a very interesting and useful activity for everyone.

On the one hand, this trip would help us improve our English because we could practise the language in real situations. In addition, we would have the opportunity to visit important places such as Big Ben, the British Museum, and Buckingham Palace, and learn more about British culture and history.

On the other hand, we believe this experience would help us get along better with our classmates and become more independent and responsible.

We know the trip can be expensive, so we suggest organising activities to raise money and reduce the costs.

We hope you will consider our proposal and allow us to make this trip.
