5) Essay: Women's Rights and Feminism

We give importance to our voice when it is silenced.

Nowadays, due to many protests, women have more rights and greater freedom in their lives than in other times. To put it another way, women were used as objects and were not allowed to be free, although if they had had the opportunity to decide for themselves, they could have been very successful.

Over so many years, women have been forbidden to perform many activities, such as art. Because of this, they presented their work under the name of a man, because if a woman presented her work, she could be killed. It must be said that they were the object of political interests and were forced to get engaged. However, if women had not asked for rights, they would not be able to study. Moreover, a man owned her body and could force it against her will. Only because of feminism can women vote and go out on the streets unaccompanied by men.

In conclusion, if women had not protested for their rights, they could have lived in a world of great injustice. Feminism is a fight of all members of society, and only by uniting can we end inequality. In addition, thanks to feminism, a whole world of discrimination has opened our eyes.
