Gramática Inglesa: Wish, Condicionales y Relativos

Uso del Verbo "Wish"

El verbo Wish se utiliza para expresar deseos o lamentos sobre situaciones que son irreales o difíciles de cambiar.

• Lamento del pasado: Se utiliza el Pasado Perfecto (Past Perfect).
• Deseo o lamento del presente (situación irreal): Se utiliza el Pasado Simple (Past Simple).
• Queja o deseo de cambio futuro: Se utiliza wouldn't + infinitivo.

Expresiones Relacionadas con el Lamento

• What a pity, Shame.
• I'm sorry / unhappy / sad.
• Should have + participio (Indica arrepentimiento).
• Regret + -ing (Lamento de una acción pasada).

Estructura adicional: Verbo + Objeto Indirecto + to + Infinitivo (o wouldn't + infinitivo).

Gerundios: Usos como Sujeto y Objeto en Inglés

Gerundios como Sujeto

Un gerundio (verbo terminado en -ing) puede funcionar como el sujeto de una oración.

Estructura: Gerundio (verbo + -ing) + verbo + complemento

Ejemplo: Swimming is good exercise. (Nadar es un buen ejercicio).

Gerundios como Objeto

Un gerundio también puede funcionar como el objeto directo de un verbo.

Estructura: Sujeto + verbo + gerundio (verbo + -ing)

Ejemplo: I enjoy reading. (Disfruto leer).

Los pronombres cuantitativos indican la cantidad de un nombre. Aquí te presentamos los más comunes:

  Se utiliza principalmente en oraciones afirmativas y para realizar ofertas o peticiones que esperamos sean aceptadas.
