There is one person I especially admire: his name is Antonio Banderas. I first heard about Banderas when I watched his famous film Átame, directed by Pedro Almodóvar. Antonio is the first Spanish actor who has become extremely popular in the United States. He started his career in Madrid when he was a very young man and, from the very beginning, he managed to work with the best directors, actors and actresses.

Antonio Banderas is an extremely handsome man. His curly dark hair and dark eyes have made him a Latin symbol in North America. He is tall and broad-shouldered, rather slender and very expressive.

Antonio has proved to be a warm person; he is always willing to answer the questions asked by both his fans and the journalists. He is not only glamorous but also kind. Being well-known has not changed his attitude; he is still the same modest man who moved from the south of Spain to the capital to search for his dream. In his free time, Antonio enjoys spending time with his wife, famous American actress Melanie Griffith, and their daughter. He is also good at singing, which has been very useful throughout his acting career.

My birthday is on December 18. I don't want to tell you the year, because, as you know, women prefer to keep a secret about it. Well, I worked in the morning. During the day I received a lot of gifts from my co-workers, parents and friends, but the most special gift I received was from my little son, Gabriel (he is 4 years old). He gave me a lot of kisses and hugs.

My husband invited me to lunch at a nice hotel restaurant, and he gave me flowers and wine. Everything was pretty and nice.

My mother-in-law baked a big and delicious birthday cake, and in the evening my parents and friends sang "Happy Birthday" to me.

I thank God for giving me a new year of life.
