Michael Joseph Jackson, known in the artistic world as Michael Jackson, was a singer, composer and dancer from the USA.

In the sixties he formed a very successful group with his brothers, The Jackson Five. In the eighties he became the most successful pop superstar worldwide, "the new king of pop". Throughout his artistic career as a soloist, Michael Jackson's music was modernizing and evolving, especially from the 1980s onwards. This is demonstrated in the musical styles he explored.

Jackson was considered a musical and artistic genius, which he showed from his beginnings as a child prodigy with an extraordinary interpretive level. He was also a controversial figure, with defenders and detractors, and innumerable legends and rumors surrounded him, with worldwide repercussions that persisted in the last years of his popularity. Soon after his death, and sixteen years after the alleged criminal events, one of the children involved publicly declared that the singer was innocent.

Michael Jackson was a figure of brilliant talent, because he reached his commercial and reputational peak before passing away at the age of 30.

Narración

Last year, I travelled with my classmates to two foreign countries, England and France, because we had finished school. The trip lasted eight days: four days in London, two days in Paris and two days in Disney.

The four days in London were very boring, because there was nothing fun, everything was the same, and the guide ("guida" en el original) talked and talked and talked, always about the same thing. However, we saw many interesting places, such as the British Museum.

The two days in Paris were more fun, although we also had a guide. Paris has more interesting places for young people. The place I liked most was Montmartre, because it has many shops and bars, the crêpes stands, and the street artists who draw portraits.

But the best days were in Disney. In the theme park there were many entertaining rides, everything was decorated very well and looked like a dream.

The trip ended and we returned home with the return tickets. The trip was very short for me.

Hi! I am writing to you because we have not spoken for a long time.

I have many things to tell you.

During the vacations I am going to Paris with my friends. We are going to have a lot of fun.

From Tenerife we will go to Madrid. In Madrid we will spend one night, and in the morning we will visit Paris ("demolish" en el original, con el sentido de "arrasar" o "hacer pedazos").

We will be 7 days in Paris and 3 days in Disney. It is going to be really entertaining.
