Using plastic in daily life

Using plastic is part of our daily lives. Many people say it is practical and cheap, but others argue it damages the planet.

On the one hand, plastic causes serious pollution. It fills oceans and harms animals. Moreover, it takes hundreds of years to disappear. Besides, it is often used once and thrown away, creating unnecessary waste.

On the other hand, plastic has many advantages. In addition, it is very cheap and easy to produce. Furthermore, it is strong and protects food and medical tools. As well as helping people in hospitals, it is used in many industries.

In conclusion, despite the problems, I support using plastic carefully. In spite of the pollution, I believe plastic is useful because it is cheap, safe and helps in many essential areas of life.

Planting trees in cities

Planting trees in cities is becoming more common. Some people believe it’s essential, while others think it’s unnecessary or problematic.

On the one hand, trees take up space that could be used for buildings or roads. Moreover, their roots can damage sidewalks and pipes. Besides, they require maintenance and water, which can be expensive.

On the other hand, trees offer many benefits. In addition, they clean the air and reduce noise. Furthermore, they create shade and make cities cooler in summer. As well as helping the environment, trees improve mental health and make cities more beautiful.

In conclusion, I support planting trees in cities. Despite the cost and space, trees are worth it because they help people, nature, and the urban climate.

Having animals in zoos

Zoos are popular places to visit, but there is debate about keeping animals in captivity.

On the one hand, animals in zoos can suffer from stress. Moreover, they live in small spaces and can’t act naturally. Besides, some zoos care more about money than animal welfare.

On the other hand, zoos protect endangered species. In addition, they educate people about animals and nature. Furthermore, animals in zoos receive medical attention and live longer. As well as protecting animals, zoos support conservation projects.

In conclusion, I support zoos that treat animals well. In spite of the disadvantages, zoos are helpful because they save species, educate the public, and care for animals.

Giving up cars to protect the environment

Giving up cars is one way to reduce pollution; however, many people think it is unrealistic.

On the one hand, some areas have no public transport. Moreover, cars are necessary for long distances. Besides, not everyone can bike or walk, especially in bad weather.

On the other hand, cars pollute the air and cause traffic. In addition, they are expensive to maintain. Furthermore, walking or cycling improves health. As well as reducing emissions, fewer cars mean quieter and safer streets.

In conclusion, I support using cars less. Despite the difficulties, it’s better for health, the environment, and city life.

Recycling

Recycling is promoted worldwide, but some people still do not believe it is effective.

On the one hand, not all materials are easy to recycle. Moreover, the recycling process uses energy and money. Besides, many people recycle incorrectly, which reduces its benefits.

On the other hand, recycling reduces waste in landfills. In addition, it saves natural resources. Furthermore, it teaches people to be responsible. As well as helping the planet, recycling can create jobs and support local economies.

In conclusion, I support recycling. Despite some issues, it is important because it protects the environment and builds better habits for the future.

Eating more vegetables

Many people say we should eat more vegetables. Although some enjoy them, others find it hard to change their diet.

On the one hand, some people don’t like the taste of vegetables. Moreover, preparing vegetables takes time. Besides, fast food is quicker and more popular among young people.

On the other hand, vegetables are healthy. In addition, they prevent diseases and help you feel better. Furthermore, they are cheaper than meat. As well as helping your body, eating vegetables is good for the planet.

In conclusion, I support eating more vegetables. Despite the effort, they are healthy, cheap, and good for the environment.

Using public transport

Public transport is often seen as a solution to traffic and pollution, but it has disadvantages too.

On the one hand, buses and trains can be slow and crowded. Moreover, they don’t always arrive on time. Besides, in some areas, there is no public transport at all.

On the other hand, public transport reduces pollution. In addition, it’s cheaper than owning a car. Furthermore, it helps reduce traffic. As well as saving money, it allows people to relax while traveling.

In conclusion, I support using public transport. Despite the delays and discomfort, it is better because it saves money, reduces traffic, and helps the environment.
