Tipos de Oraciones Condicionales en Inglés

Las oraciones condicionales son fundamentales para expresar situaciones y sus posibles resultados. Se clasifican en cuatro tipos principales:

Cero Condicional (Zero Conditional)

• Estructura: If + present simple, present simple
• Uso: Verdades generales o científicas, hechos que siempre ocurren.
• Ejemplo: If you heat ice, it melts. (Si calientas hielo, se derrite.)
• Tip: Si algo siempre ocurre cuando otra cosa sucede, este es el condicional a usar.

Primer Condicional (First Conditional)

• Estructura: If + present simple, will + verbo (infinitivo)
• Uso: Posibilidades reales en el futuro, situaciones que pueden ocurrir.
• Ejemplo: If I study, I will pass the test.

Presente Simple

• Para hablar de situaciones permanentes

Presente Continuo

Presente continuo: Se forma con el presente simple del verbo *to be* + el verbo principal acabado en -ing.

Uso:

• Acciones que están ocurriendo temporalmente, no necesariamente en el momento de hablar
