Antic i Nou Testament

Antic Testament: Escrit en arameu i hebreu. Té 39 llibres i recull la història, tradicions i creences d'Israel. És important per a tres religions monoteistes: judaisme, cristianisme i islam.

Nou Testament: Escrit majoritàriament en grec. Té 27 llibres i se centra en la vida i obra de Jesús. És fonamental per a la religió cristiana. Està escrit en forma de conte, himnes i inclou quatre evangelis: Sant Mateu, Sant Lluc i Sant Marc. Parla de la vida i obra de Jesús i de la predicció dels apòstols.
