Corrected English Writing Practice

1. Have you ever seen a film or read a book about an animal that showed its feelings? Explain.

I recently saw a film about a dog trying to save its master, who had had an accident.

The dog showed its anxiety through its repeated efforts to wake its master from his unconscious state. However, when this was not possible, the dog went to look for help, having to face dangers from other wild animals and many other difficulties.

Book Review: Twilight

Twilight is the story of Edward and Bella’s romance. Forget any vampire romance you have read before; Twilight is so unique it is almost like it is in its own genre. The book is marketed to young adult readers, but it has the ability to cross age barriers and will satisfy both teenagers and adults alike.

The story is told in the first person from the perspective of Bella, so the reader only ever knows what she knows, making Edward and his family a mystery that is slowly unravelled throughout the book.
