• Abortar: avortar (un fetus) o fer fracassar (una cosa)

Ús Correcte dels Verbs i Auxiliars

Llevar vs. Prendre

S'ha d'usar "prendre" quan el significat és "robar o agafar-li una cosa a un altre", i no "llevar".

Ser (Esser) i Estar amb Adjectius

El verb: formes no personals

• Infinitiu: No s'usa com a imperatiu. Exemple: «Recordar» (incorrecte) → «Cal recordar» (correcte). «A l'arribar» (incorrecte) → «En arribar» (correcte).
• Participi: Ha de concordar amb el complement directe (CD).
• Gerundi: «Fent-li pagar» (incorrecte) → «Li feu pagar» (correcte).
• Altres: «Donar» (incorrecte) → «Fer» (ptó, abraçada, llàstima, crit). «Comprendre» (correcte) → «Composar» (incorrecte). «Adormir» és un verb transitiu.

Adverbi

1. Bé i malament: Davant d'adjectius o adverbis, s'usa «ben» i «mal».
2. Corrents: «Molt de pressa».
3. Dies: No s'usa article amb els dies de la setmana, excepte per indicar freqüència (ex: «ens entrenem els dimarts»).

Utilizamos can’t para decir algo que es imposibl e. Ejemplo: I don’t relieve you. You can’t be serious
MUST
Utilizamos must para decir algo que es verdader o.Ejemplo: It must be great to have liberal parents
May, might, can’t, must y could + have + el participio es igual pero se refiere al pasado
