Presente Simple: Sujeto + Verbo (No para verbos estáticos) + Complemento Directo. Adverbios de frecuencia.

Presente Continuo: Estar + Gerundio (Ir a + Infinitivo). Ej: is/are/am + -ing. Se usa para acciones en la actualidad, en este mismo momento, hoy, últimamente, ahora.

Pasado Simple: Sujeto + Verbo en pasado (segunda columna o -ed). Ej: Jugué, Jugaba. Se usa con: ayer, por último, hace, con qué frecuencia, antes.

Pasado Continuo: was/were + -ing. Se usa con: tiempo, como, cuando, ayer.

Presente Perfecto: has/have + participio pasado (tercera columna o -ed). Se usa con: ya que, porque, así, sin embargo, ya, ¿cuánto tiempo?, siempre, never, tonight.

Adjective Order

The general order of adjectives in English is as follows:

Quantity/Number - Opinion - Size - Physical Quality - Shape - Age - Color - Origin - Material - Type - Purpose + Noun

Example: a beautiful small round old green French wooden coffee table

Adverb Formation from Adjectives

Many adverbs are formed by adding '-ly' to adjectives:

• happy - happily
• brave - bravely
• romantic - romantically

Some adverbs have the same form as their adjective counterparts:

• fast
• hard
• early
• late
• high
• low

Irregular Adverb Forms:

• good - well
• bad - badly

Common Verb Expressions

Here are some common verb expressions with prepositions:

• agree with: estar de acuerdo con
• apologise to someone for sth: pedir disculpas a alguien por algo
• apply to someone for sth: solicitar algo a alguien
• believe

Conceptos Fundamentales de Gramática Inglesa

1. Oraciones Condicionales (Conditionals)

Las estructuras condicionales se utilizan para expresar situaciones hipotéticas y sus posibles resultados.

Tipos de Condicionales

Tipo 1: Real o Probable

Estructura: If + Presente Simple (1ª columna) → will + Infinitivo.

Uso: Situaciones posibles en el presente o futuro.

Tipo 2: Irreal o Hipotético

Estructura: If + Pasado Simple (-ed / 2ª columna) → would/should + Infinitivo.

Uso: Situaciones imaginarias o improbables en el presente o futuro.

Tipo 3: Irreal del Pasado

Estructura: If + Pasado Perfecto (had + -ed/3ª columna) → would have + Participio (-ed/3ª columna).

Uso: Situaciones que no ocurrieron en el pasado y sus consecuencias.

Presente Simple (Present Simple)
