A. Immersion Experience

Last summer, I decided to improve my English by spending a month abroad. At first, I hesitated because I disliked leaving my comfort zone. But my teacher persuaded me to join a language immersion program. The program required students to use only English at all times, and that meant avoiding speaking our native languages. At the beginning, I struggled to express myself clearly, and I often felt embarrassed. Still, my classmates encouraged me to keep practicing. After a few weeks, I began to notice progress in my communication skills. I also appreciated interacting with people from many different cultures. Looking back, I don't regret taking that important step in my education.
