¿Qué es una Perífrasis Verbal?

Una perífrasis verbal es la unión de dos o más formas verbales que funcionan juntas como un único núcleo del predicado. Sirven para expresar matices y características de la acción verbal (su inicio, duración, fin, obligación, probabilidad, etc.) que no pueden señalarse con las formas verbales simples o compuestas.

Estructura de la Perífrasis Verbal

Generalmente, están compuestas por los siguientes elementos:

1. Verbo auxiliar: Es el primer verbo, que aparece conjugado en forma personal y aporta la información gramatical (persona, número, tiempo, modo).
2. Nexo: Un elemento de enlace, que puede ser una preposición (a, de, por, para) o una conjunción (que). En algunas perífrasis, el nexo no es necesario
