We were on vacation. That year, we were going on a cruise. I was going to travel for the first time by plane and by boat, and I was very nervous. I had been preparing my suitcase for days so as not to forget anything, and the last night before I left, I said goodbye to my friends.

The next morning, we went to the airport. Everything there was new for me; I was very happy thinking about the days I had left to experience. Once we got off the plane and arrived at the port, we boarded the ship, where we were given the key cards to enter the room. The room was very large, and the views from the balcony were incredible.

Oraciones Condicionales

Condicional Cero (Zero Conditional)

Estructura: If + Present Simple, Present Simple

Expresa situaciones que se repiten siempre que se da una determinada condición.

Ejemplo: You care for the environment if/when you are an environmentalist.

Para expresar que no se cumple la situación, se usa unless.

Ejemplo: Unless it rains, our winter climate is usually very mild.

Nota: No se usa unless en el tercer condicional.

Primer Condicional (First Conditional)

Estructura: If + Present Simple, Future Simple

Expresa lo que ocurrirá si se cumple la situación.

Ejemplo: If you do something illegal, you will face the consequences.

También se pueden usar verbos modales o el imperativo en la cláusula principal.
